Due to the growing influence of new coming non-European musicians, and because the numberless cooperation’s between Europe-based musicians with all kinds of cultural backgrounds it is possible to speak from a new musical genre coming up in Europe called the New European Blend Music. The characteristics of this genre are the intense blend of different musical traditions, using instruments of different cultures and different languages.

New European Blend Music can be seen as a musical transformation of the modern intercultural society as it appeared all over Europe last decennia. It is the sound of the Europe of tomorrow. To show this new genre, to underline its social and artistic relevance in Europe, and to stimulate European networking, exchange and further collaboration between musicians active in New European Blend Music groups this European tour is established.
