Orkester Norden • Nordic Tour 2010


Kulturvogna, in collaboration with the youth orchestra Orkester Norder are preparing for a nordic tour in August 2010. The orchestra consisting of the most talented classical music students in the Nordic and the Baltic countries, soloist Charlotte Hellekant and conductor Eivind Aadland will be performing in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Aaland and Helsinki.
Approx. 80 musicians will be selected for this years orchestra, rehearsing for 2 weeks in Kristiansand before performances in Konserthuset Copenhagen, Stockholm Konserhus and at the Helsinki Festival. The tour takes place between the 12. and the 18th of August. Read more at www.orkesternorden.com

Orkester Norden • Tour in Italy 2009


The symphony orchestra Orkester Norden, consisting of the most talented classical music students in the Nordic and the Baltic countries went on a tour to Italy this summer. The orchestra, soloists Antje Weithaas and Peter Herrestahl, conductor Jorma Panula performed concerts in Basilica di San Fortunato (Todi), at the famous Ravello Festival in Ravello and at Tempietto in the Archeological Park of the Teatro di Marcello, Rome. Symphonic Django/ Django Symphonique is the first ever edition of the legendary Django Reinhardt´s music orchestrated for symphony orchestra. The idea originated from Jon Larsen and was developed in cooperation with Kulturvogna.
